Janet from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Will you be able to enter the park anytime after the time on your Park Reservation Ticket or only have a window of time (like fast passes)?

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Wow!  My head is spinning faster than a Mad Tea Party teacup with all of the new information about the reopening process that Walt Disney World Resort has recently announced!  I am so excited to hEAR that you are planning to return to a world of magic soon, and I would be happy to help you get ready for your upcoming visit.

When the Walt Disney World theme parks begin to once again welcome Guests, they will be operating at a reduced capacity to allow for proper social distancing.  Guests will need to make a reservation and have valid park admission to enter a Walt Disney World theme park.  Soon, Guests will be able to make theme park reservations using a convenient online tool called the Disney Park Pass System.

Beginning on June 22, 2020, Guests who have an existing Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation and valid theme park admission can begin making their park reservations using the Disney Park Pass System.  On June 26, 2020, Annual Passholders without a resort stay can begin making their reservations.  Then on June 28, 2020, all other existing ticket holders may begin making theme park reservations.  Be sure to link your theme park tickets and resort hotel reservations, if applicable, to your My Disney Experience account so you will be all set to make your park reservations.

Janet, I chatted about your question with a Walt Disney World Cast Member.  I was told that once you have a theme park reservation, you will not need to enter that park at a specific time.  Your reservation will be good for the entire day, and you are welcome to exit and re-enter that same park at any time throughout the day of your reservation.

Here are a few additional facts that you may want to keep in mind as you get ready to use the Disney Park Pass System.  Reservations are limited and subject to availability.  At this time, Guests will only be able to select one park per day.  Also, if you have a multi-day ticket, you must make a park reservation for each date of your visit.

As you prepare for your visit, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog and the operational updates page on the Walt Disney World website for any additional news and announcements about the reopening process.  If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

    See ya real soon!
