    are you able to enjoy some of the hotel amenities at Disney vero beach with just a restaurant reservation? also when is the character dining at Disney Vero beach expected to re-open?

    Hiya, Jessica!

    Welcome to planDisney.  I'm so excited to hear that you have an upcoming visit planned to Disney's Vero Beach Resort.  While I haven't gotten to visit this beautiful Disney Vacation Club Resort for myself yet, I'm hoping to book a stay for my family next year –– it looks incredible!  Seriously, what could be better than combining world-class Disney accommodations with that breathtaking coastline and just about any Resort activity you can imagine? It looks like the perfect place for a relaxing escape!  Even if you won't be staying at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, I have a feeling that you'll definitely get a taste of everything this Resort has to offer when you drop by to enjoy your meal!

    While some of the activities and spaces at Disney's Vero Beach Resort are reserved exclusively for the enjoyment of registered Guests, there are plenty of ways you could explore the Resort before or after your dining reservation.  You could do a little shopping at Island Grove Packing Company, book a spa service at The Spa at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, or even stop by Eb & Flo's Rentals and rent bikes to cruise around the Resort.  You could also wander out to Atlantic Beach to feel the sand between your toes.  For a full list of activities that would be available to you, I recommend stopping by the Front Desk when you arrive at the Resort, where a Cast Member will be able to give you details about all the activities you can experience during your visit.  And while there's nothing more fun than getting a chance to dine with your favorite characters, Character Dining experiences are unavailable at Disney's Vero Beach Resort at this time and there hasn't been any word about if or when they might be offered again in the future.  For any news about the return of character dining, be sure to keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for all the latest updates.
