Are you able to eat at Tambu lounge after 6pm on a party day- without having a party ticket

    Aloha, Sara! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m happy to help you with this question. Tambu Lounge is located at the Polynesian Village Resort, across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom. The resort’s restaurants, including Tambu Lounge, are open to the public, so you don’t need a theme park ticket or special event ticket to dine there.

If you would like to dine inside the Magic Kingdom on a special event evening, such as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you need to make sure your reservation is before 6 PM, when day guests are asked to exit the Magic Kingdom. If your delicious meal ends after 7 PM then you’ll be kindly escorted to the park exit by a helpful Cast Member.

Whether you are visiting during the spooky season or the festive winter holidays, there is so much to see and do at Walt Disney World. You can preview all the special entertainment, food, merchandise, and more over at the Disney Parks Blog. It’s one of my favorite resources when planning my next Disney adventure.

I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Sara. If you do end up visiting Tambu Lounge, be sure to check out the famous Lapu Lapu. Served in a fresh pineapple, it is a relaxing tropical serenade in drink form.

    Magical travels!
