Would we be able to get a dinner reservation at Caribbean Beach resort and then ride the skyliner over to see Riviera resort and back again? We would like to test our fear of heights and can not tell from the map which stops shortest section of the skylin

Hey there! Hi there, Danielle! I am so happy to see you back at planDisney, where you are as welcome as can be!

As someone with an extreme fear of parrots that has me planning my days at Animal Kingdom Theme Park around the early morning release of the birds, I appreciate your question. And I applaud your bravery in attempting to ride the Disney Skyliner with your fear of heights. You have done your research: the stretch between Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort is the shortest on the path. I also recommend it for a trial run for two other reasons. First, it does not go that high. It's high enough for someone tentative with heights, but not too high. Also, if it's not for you, it's an easy - and gorgeous - walk back to Caribbean Beach.

But I think you can do it! I love the Skyliner. Each gondola has its own character. You can look at the ground if you don't want to see the views or look out the sides to see just how brave you are. On your journey from Caribbean Beach to Rivieria, you will have a short, smooth ride between stops. Now, I wouldn't just think of Riviera as a test stop. I would make it an event and celebrate my success with Banana Bread from Primo Piatto or Le Petit Café. It will make the trip so worth it!

I hope it goes well and you feel as safe as Jane swinging through the trees with Tarzan. If you can manage it, you will find the Skyliner an easy, breezy way to travel at Walt Disney World Resort. Hopefully, it will be in your heart. Danielle, I will be rooting for you!

    Thinking of the Happiest Things!
