Hey there, Deborah. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
I'm so happy to see that you are planning on making advanced dining reservations for your upcoming trip. Being able to sit down and enjoy a spectacular meal is going to make your vacation to
Walt Disney World that much more magical. Like you know, currently, Guests are able to make advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to their vacation. In the morning, you'll want to set your alarm bright and early for 6:45 a.m. and have your itinerary handy because the reservation system opens online and over the phone promptly at 7:00 a.m. You can make reservations online by logging in to your
MyDisneyExperience account. Once there, you'll scroll down a bit, depending on your screen size, and you'll see the fork and knife icon for dining. When you hover your courser over that icon a few options should appear like "make a reservation, and "link a reservation". Select the "make a reservation" option and you'll be prompted to fill out the number of people in your party and date and time of day you are trying to make a reservation for. This will pull up all of the restaurants that have availability for when you are searching. One thing I should mention is that if you make a dining reservation inside one of the
four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you must have valid theme park admission and a
park pass reservation to be able to dine there.
I'm sure you probably have your itinerary all planned out, but may I make a suggestion? My favorite place to enjoy a late lunch or dinner right now is
The BOATHOUSE at
Disney Springs. The food is delicious and the atmosphere, especially if you dine outside is fantastic. The menu offers a wide variety of options that will please even the pickiest of eaters. My current go-to order is the lobster roll served warm with a side of butter and I always upgrade the side of fries to an order of truffle fries. In fact, I'm a little embarrassed to admit it but I've had an entire order of truffle fries as my meal and enjoyed every bite. They really are that good! To end the evening, if you still have some room, my daughter would highly recommend the key lime pie served up in a mason jar. It's a perfect way to end a perfect meal.
I hope you are able to get all of the dining reservations you have your heart set on for your upcoming vacation. If you have any other questions before your trip, I'd love for you to come back and ask me. Good luck!
