Hello! Am I able to deactivate a Disney World Annual Pass? I don't want to cancel it. I just don't want it to be able to be used for entry for a period of time. Thank you!

    Hi, Amy!

Oh how I wish I could use my Annual Pass more often! But, as hard as we Mouseketeers work to get to Walt Disney World, there are periods of time when we simply cannot make it to the House of Mouse. Unfortunately, there is no way to put a "hold" on an Annual Pass. It is valid for one year from its first use.

The good news is that you can still benefit from your Annual Pass even when not on vacation. I just used the Shop Disney Parks app and was able to get my Annual Pass discount on my purchase. It is also nice to have it active and ready to go for any last minute trips that might get planned.

I hope you find time to get to use your Annual Pass for a visit to Walt Disney World real soon.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
