Greetings, Amber!
Thanks for coming back to
planDisney with another question about the
Disneyland Resort. As you may have heard, Pumpkin King Jack Skellington has again decorated the mansion with spooktacularly festive touches inspired by
Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas!
While
New Orleans Square and the new stand-by queue experience for this attraction are still being refurbished,
Haunted Mansion Holiday reopened this week via a
virtual queue. Guests who are using
Disability Access Service (DAS) must first use the
Disneyland mobile app to join a boarding group to experience this attraction. When your boarding group number is called, find a Cast Member at the attraction entrance and let them know you are in a boarding group and are also using DAS. They’ll give you further instructions and point you in the right direction.
In preparation to join the virtual queue, make sure your group's
theme park tickets are linked to your MyDisney account in the Disneyland mobile app. There are two opportunities to request to join the virtual queue each day. At 7:00 a.m., Guests who have a
theme park reservation for Disneyland Park may request to join, and at 12:00 p.m., Guests who are inside Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket or inside Disneyland Park can request to join the virtual queue. Each Guest may only join the virtual queue for this attraction once a day.
I hope this information is helpful, Amber, and that your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is all you've been dreaming of! Please feel free to ask us any other planning questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
