Hi there, Iris!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is right around the corner, and it sounds like you're making all your last-minute preparations for your trip! It's so much fun to plan, prepare for, and count down the days to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
You'll be happy to hEAR that yes, you're more than welcome to bring a small cooler full of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages into the Walt Disney World theme parks to enjoy during your visit. Bringing your own snacks to the parks is not only a great way to save time and money but (in my family) is also a great way to ward off the "hangries". If my daughter gets to the point to even
mention being hungry, we've got to find snacks quick before "hangry" sets in! You'll always find me with an array of pre-packaged snacks on hand, ready to satisfy hungry moments between meals. Food and beverages can be carried in using a small cooler or backpack, as long as they fit within the size limits listed in
Walt Disney World Resort's Park Rules and Regulations. Please note: Outside beverages are permitted, but not in glass bottles, and loose ice is not permitted in coolers. (I recommend reusable ice packs to keep your snacks cool in the Florida heat!)
I typically carry in a water bottle (with a trustworthy lid) to avoid spills into my bag. There are several spots throughout the parks to refill your water bottle throughout the day, or you can request a free cup of ice water at any Quick Service dining location. It's so important to stay hydrated as you enjoy your days in Walt Disney World Resort's four awesome theme parks! If you need a break from the sun, it's always a good time to enjoy an indoor attraction for some good old-fashioned A/C. My favorite place to cool off is in Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress in
Magic Kingdom Park. 20 minutes in an air-conditioned theatre with a classic show and a catchy theme song? Count me in.
I hope this helps, and you'll soon be on your way to the most pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort vacation ever. Have a magical time!
Diane W.
