We are able to check in online as of today. If we decide to do this, is there usually long lines at the online check in counter once arriving at resorts vs standing in line the traditional way? Seems to me that there would be since its such a great tool.

    Hello, Angela,

I will always remember when I arrived at Pop Century and truly waited in line for nearly an hour to check-in the traditional while I watched those guests arriving at the online check-in counter come and go incredibly quickly.  That experience was enough to convince me to always take advantage of the online check in!

Since then, it is what we have used and have found it a great time-saver
.  Guests arrive at the check in counter, and it takes only a few minutes to verify a couple of things before we received our welcome packet and were off.  From my experience, it is the way to go to save time.  I think if you are staying at one of the larger resorts, it can really make a difference with the number of guests coming and going.

When we arrive for our summer trip to WDW, I already have the date marked on my calendar when I can check us in online.
