When are you able to check your dining credits on the app? I’ve seen where you can find it, but that doesn’t show up on my app.

    Hi Maggie!
    Welcome to planDisney.

Thank you for asking this question!  We are so pleased to see the long-awaited return of the Disney dining plans and I'm very happy to talk about them!

Your Disney dining plan comes into effect from your check-in day, and from then onwards you will be able to check your dining plan balance on your My Disney Experience app.  You will also find your remaining balance on any dining receipt.  If you'd like a copy of all your dining plan transactions, and how many you have left you can stop by the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel and ask a Cast Member for a print-out.  Your Disney dining plan can be used up to midnight on your check-out day (subject to having any meals or snacks remaining on your balance).

When using the Disney Dining Plan, for each night of stay, each guest will receive 1 Table-Service Meal; 1 Quick-Service meal; 1 Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic drink with each meal; and 1 Snack or Drink.  The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan gives each guest, per night of stay, 2 Quick-Service Meals; 1 drink with each meal;  and 1 Snack or Drink.

Also Included in the price of your Disney Dining Plan is a Resort Refillable Mug.  This can be used for unlimited refills of a selection of fountain drinks, including sugar-free versions, and hot drinks such as coffee, tea and hot chocolate, at the beverage stations found at the Quick-Service locations at all Disney Resort hotels for the length of your dining plan.  It's also worth noting that you will find a sink next to all the beverage stations to rinse your mug before your next refill.

Restaurants (table-service and quick-service) across the whole Resort that accept a Disney dining plan are listed here.  Reservations are recommended for table-service restaurants and can be made online or by using your My Disney Experience app up to 60 days in advance.

You can use your dining plan in any way you want to - maybe you'll find you need it for more meals one day, and less on another (for example, using 2 table-service meals for signature dining on one day, then paying cash for a less expensive meal the next day).

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can send me a direct question if you wish.  We will be very happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort.
