Boo to you, Vera, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I can’t wait for the frightful fun of
Halloween Time at the
Disneyland Resort, and I’m so glad to hEAR you were able to grab tickets to
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party before
they sold out! However, I’m sorry that a Guest in your group is unable to attend now. Not to worry, though – even though your ticket is currently assigned to someone else, anyone else can use that wholly-unused ticket. The ticket won’t be assigned to anyone until it’s activated at the Front Entrance Gates of Disney California Adventure Park. At that point, it can’t be assigned to anyone else. So, just have the Guest show up with the unused ticket, and they'll be able to enter. If you have any additional ticket questions, you can call a Ticketing Cast Member at (714) 781-4636.
I was actually in this situation a few years back, when a Panelist friend ended up with an extra ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash. Even though the ticket was originally assigned to someone else, I was able to use it to enter the event since the ticket was still unused. I simply linked the ticket to my
Disneyland app, and had no problem scanning it at the front gate upon arrival.
I’ve had the opportunity to experience Oogie Boogie Bash several times, and I was super impressed with the immersive treat trails, the mysterious and mystical Villains Grove, the family-friendly Mickey’s Trick and Treat show, and the oh-so entertaining Frightfully Fun Parade. I waited until the very end of the party to visit Villains Grove one night, and was able to experience the walk through Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at my own pace, which was amazing!
Don’t hesitate to return with any additional questions, Vera… we’re all EARs!
Wishing you many happy haunts,
Kristin
