I was able to change a guest online but how do I know it changed for the ticket also? And what about magic band?

    Hiya Jessica!

Thank you for sending us this magical question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! As Remy once said: the only predictable thing about life is its unpredictability. Sometimes, our plans need to be changed, and thankfully the My Disney Experience service empowers you to make many of those changes yourself.

If a Guest in your party can no longer attend but already has a theme park ticket, you will have to reassign that ticket to the correct Guest's account on My Disney Experience. To do so, you will first need to ensure that this new Guest is on your Family & Friends List. Then, you will have to log into your My Disney Experience account and go to the My Plans section. If you scroll down a bit, you should be able to click on the tab titled Tickets and Memory Maker, and then locate the ticket you wish to reassign. The ticket  should be under the first Guest's name, and you should be able to click on a drop-down menu titled "Reassign Ticket." Once you have reassigned it to the correct Guest, it will automatically link to that Guest's MagicBand if they have one connected to their profile.

If you plan on using MagicBands, I would also highly recommend trying the new MagicBand+ device. I got to try mine for the first time on my last few trips to the Walt Disney World Resort, and I loved it. For example, the Fab 50 Character Quest was so much fun and would be great if you are travelling with little ones. My favourite feature, however, had to be how my MagicBand+ would synchronize with the fireworks or rides I was on to make my experience even more magical. Indeed, I will never forget the moment I walked out of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and saw my MagicBand+ light up in the colours of the French flag. It is a small detail that makes such a big difference!

I hope this was helpful, Jessica, and that you will have the best day ever on your next trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions leading up to your magical vacation, please don't hesitate to reach back out! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.

    Have a magical day,
