Hello Aubrey,
Thanks so much for coming to see us here at planDisney. It sounds like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans are needing to change a bit, and I do hope you get to enjoy all the magic that awaits you when you do arrive.
If you have purchased Walt Disney World Resort
theme park tickets, you can make changes to your tickets before midnight (Eastern Time) of the day before the first valid use date of the ticket. The changes that you can make include changes to ticket dates.
You can use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to make changes to tickets. You would simply tap the main menu (the 3 stacked lines) on the app's home screen, tap the "Tickets and Passes" tile, select your ticket, and use the "Change Ticket" feature.
It's helpful to know that the pricing for theme park tickets uses a date-based pricing model. This means that the new dates you select could have higher prices. It's also helpful to know that the price you pay for theme park tickets, should those unused tickets expire,
can be applied to the purchase of new theme park tickets. The new tickets would need to be priced the same as or higher than the original tickets you purchased.
I hope this information is helpful, Aubrey. If you have additional questions about your tickets, you can contact the Walt Disney World Resort at (407)-934-7639 and speak with a friendly Cast Member who can offer assistance. You could also connect with a Cast Member using the
online chat service.
Here's wishing you a fun and wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
