Bonjour, Itzel! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your question!
Just like our favorite little French chef, Remy, says, "Change is nature," and unfortunately, sometimes plans change. I'm sorry to hear that your vacation plans may have changed, and you may not be able to use a ticket to
The Most Magical Place on Earth next month. However, like Chef Gusteau said, "If you focus on what you left behind, you will never see what lies ahead." So, let's look ahead and see what your options are!
Walt Disney World Resort tickets are
non-refundable and non-transferable, so, unfortunately, you will not be able to cancel and receive a refund for an unused ticket. But no worries,
mon ami! In most cases, you will be able to apply the value of an unexpired ticket to a future visit. If you already know the future date you would like to use this ticket, you have up until midnight on the day before your start date to change your ticket dates on the My Disney Experience app. If you don't yet know when you would like to use the ticket,
c'est la vie! Once you know the dates of your next visit, just
call a helpful Cast Member in Existing Tickets at (407) 934-7639 to apply the value of this ticket to a new ticket.
Voila!
Itzel, just in case you do go on your planned magical springtime adventure, check out the very first episode of the planDisney Podcast, where my awesome pals and fellow planDisney panelists and I chat about all things Spring Break in the Disney Parks and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park ... FROM Typhoon Lagoon! How cool is that podcast location?! I'll link the podcast episode below so that you can watch or listen at your leisure. I hope you find the tips and tricks helpful!
Itzel, I hope this was helpful, and I hope you stop by any time with any vacation planning questions you may have!
Au revoir!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
