Hi Tiffany!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this terrific
Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR. I'm happy to be your planEAR today. But first and foremost, on behalf of everyone at planDisney, Thank You so much for your service!
I'm a military spouse myself and am very familiar with the amazing
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets (aka 'Disney's Military Salute' tickets). At the time of this posting, Military tickets are only available for purchase at U.S. Military ticket sales offices on bases/posts and not at the front gate ticket booths. While it's best to get these tickets in advance, especially since all Guests must now also have
Park Pass Reservations which note which park you'll start your Disney days in and when, I completely understand what it's like to be stationed at a location that does not sell tickets to Disneyland. If this is your situation too, your best bet is to see if any other installations close to you happen to carry these tickets. (I'd like to say that I've figured out why some locations sell them and others like 20 minutes away don't, but I'm still working on that mystery.) Another solution to possibly get tickets in advance of your visit is I've heard that the ticket office at Camp Pendleton is now selling tickets over the phone. (For their contact info, Google 'Latitudes Travel Camp Pendleton.')
You can also try waiting until you get into town to purchase your Disneyland Military Tickets. It is pretty risky to wait, but sometimes it's all that one can do. The closest locations to Disneyland Resort that sell the Promotional Park Hoppers are Los Angeles Air Force Base (two miles from LAX airport), March Air Reserve Base (in Riverside), Camp Pendleton (in Oceanside), and Navy Base San Diego. Here is the current
Park Pass Reservation Calendar which can help you decide if you'd like to risk it or not, and remember to look at the openings for those with Park Hopper Tickets.
I'm so sorry that this answer didn't provide more solid leads to securing tickets closer to home, Tiffany. I do hope that you're able to carry on with your vacation as scheduled. Be sure to follow the
