Hi! Am I able to bring the Thule Urban Glide 2 in the parks? I think the with that the parks allow is 31 and the Thule double stroller is a 31.5 Do I really get penalized for that?

Hi Kyle! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

I'm glad you've already done the work of checking the dimensions on your stroller against the Park Rules and Regulations for Disneyland Resort. It sounds like yours might be just a little too big. It's always up to the discretion of the Cast Members at security whether a bag or stroller will be permitted inside the parks, but knowing that your stroller exceeds regulation dimensions, I wouldn't risk being turned away to walk my stroller back to my car or hotel.

I'm sorry if that's not the magical news you were hoping for! However, I do have some recommendations based on my personal experience, which might be useful. I understand how important strollers are for a long day of walking. Little legs get tired quickly trying to keep up! We need a double stroller for our little guys and our preference is to bring one from home since we use a stroller in the airport as well. Our park stroller is an affordable double stroller. It's not bulky like a typical double stroller, which can be unwieldy in crowds and tight spots, and fits easily within the allowed dimensions, while also providing the boys with a place to comfortably rest. Plus, it isn't expensive, so I don't worry about the airlines breaking it. You can also rent a stroller, including double strollers, at the Main Entrance to the parks, which is a convenient option if you don't bother with getting a stroller that meets specifications.

There are lots of strollers inside the parks and many of them look similar. Plus, Cast Members often must move strollers to consolidate them and improve crowd flow. All of this can make locating your stroller a bit of a trick. To distinguish your stroller from others, try tying a colorful ribbon to the handle or a balloon. Some families make cute signs. At night, we use battery-operated twinkle lights wrapped around the handle secured with Velcro strips. You can get creative with your stroller identification if you've got someone crafty in the family!

I hope this helps. Have a magical day.
