Are we able to bring a small partial tent in the water park for toddler to nap? No shacks are available on this date.

Hey there Eva, and welcome to planDisney!

Staying cool, hydrated and out of the blazing sun are key things that I always aim for when I head to the water parks so I can definitely understand the need to find some cover for your little one to take a little break during your visit to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. I asked a Guest Relations Cast Member about bringing tents into the water parks, and here are a few insights that they shared:

    • Though tents may not necessarily be listed under Prohibited Items in the list of Walt Disney World Property Rules, these are typically not permitted to be brought into the theme parks, water parks or Disney Springs. Policies may be subject to change without prior notice and at the discretion of Cast Members or their leadership, so without knowing the dimensions or appearance of what you'd like to bring in it's hard to say what might be allowed in. The Cast Members did advise speaking with the Guest Relations team at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon directly and showing them what you're planning on bringing in for them to have the final say on what is and isn't permitted.
    • There's always a chance that fellow guests may have cancelled their Beachcomber Shack reservations, so it's always worth checking ahead of your visit (especially the day before) or inquiring early during your water park day in case of no-shows. As an alternative, there are also a few sheltered areas that can often be found between Typhoon Tilly's and the Storm Slides that I've observed families occupying for a little midday nap away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas around the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool
I hope that the Cast Members at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon can take a look at your small tent and make a decision that'll be helpful to you and your little one on your upcoming visit! In the meantime, don't hesitate to come back to planDisney again for any other answers or advice as you prepare to make a splash soon!

Wishing you all the best on your family's aquatic adventures!
