Am I able to bring sandwiches to the park?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nashielly! I'm so glad that I get to answer this question for you right before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Now that all of your last-minute plans have been made and you're packing your bags to get ready to go, I'm happy to walk you through what kinds of things you can bring into the Theme Parks with you and what your options are for food!

I'm pleased to tell you that if you want to bring sandwiches into the Theme Parks, you are more than welcome to do so. As long as they aren't in glass containers, you can bring snacks and drinks with you to keep you fed and hydrated throughout the day and store them in your backpack, bag, or stroller. You can even bring a small cooler with you to keep your food and drinks cold, just check the safety rules to make sure that it fits within the size guidelines!

While you're welcome to bring in your own sandwiches, make sure to save some room for some iconic Disney snacks! Everyone talks about how much they love Dole Whip, and that's one of my favorite snacks too, but I'm a Citrus Swirl girl all the way. One of my favorite things to do at Magic Kingdom Park is grab a Citrus Swirl from Sunshine Tree Terrace and some Cheeseburger Spring Rolls from the spring roll cart just outside of Adventureland and share both with my husband while we sit on a bench and people-watch. Those quiet, relaxing moments are some of my favorite vacation memories!

    Have a magical day, Nashielly!
