Am I able to bring outside food and water bottles to magic kingdom park? If so, what are the rules regarding what I can bring/not bring?

    Hello Ashley!

I bet you are getting excited about your Walt Disney World vacation that is coming up! I like researching the permitted items allowed inside Walt Disney World before I begin my vacation.

Yes, you can take food and drinks (non-alcoholic) into the theme parks of Walt Disney World. My preference is a small soft-sided cooler to hold my food and drinks. If you choose to bring a cooler to the Walt Disney World theme parks or water parks, it can't be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm). Also, ensure that your liquid or food containers are not made of glass (glass containers are not permitted in the parks). Keep in mind that loose ice or dry ice in the cooler is not allowed, but you can have reusable ice packs in your cooler. I like freezing one or two plastic water bottles and then drinking the water later when I am in the park. I have often used a small soft-sided cooler on my Walt Disney World vacations to keep my food in, and the frozen water bottles help keep the food cool on warm days.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is magical!
