Welcome, Stephanie!
Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is just two days away! I love being at the Disneyland Resort this time of year as
Halloween Time brings a whole new kind of magic to the parks. From the iconic Mickey pumpkin at the top of Main Street to Jack Skellington's takeover of
Haunted Mansion Holiday, there is so much to see and do, but first things first! Let's take a look at your question so you can put the finishing touches on your packing list.
It's always a good idea to take a look at the
Disneyland Resort Rules and permitted (and
prohibited) items ahead of your visit to ensure a smooth arrival. Both cane chairs and seat walker mobility aids are allowed in the parks, but folding chairs are not. It sounds like the mini trifold sitting chair may be somewhere in between, but it falls into the category of foldable seating, which is not permitted. I would be prepared that Security may flag it and ask you to return it to your car or hotel before entry.
Stephanie, I know that was likely not the news you were hoping to hear, but I do hope it was helpful! As you make your final plans, I always like to take a peek at the
Entertainment Schedule to earmark any must-see shows, especially with so many nighttime spectaculars to choose from. I just took a look myself, and since you are attending on a weekend, you will get to enjoy
Halloween Screams with fireworks! There is truly nothing like ending your Disneyland day with fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle...with a dose of ghoulish delights!
If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney. I hope this has helped you feel perfectly prepared for all the spirited fun ahead!
Boo to you!
Tara
