Ahoy, Amanda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you starting to pack your treasure chests for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line adventure? Even though my family has set sail on multiple Disney Cruises, I still like to reference the
Packing List for Disney Cruises prior to each voyage! It's a great list that helps me think of what items I need to bring from home!
Even though my husband and I try to "unplug" during our adventures at sea, our responsibilities seem to follow us onboard the ship! I'm happy to share that you are allowed to bring a laptop onboard during your upcoming Disney Cruise. I often bring mine onboard in order to answer Disney Parks Moms Panel questions! I find that sitting in my stateroom while overlooking the ocean is a beautiful setting to get work done!
If you are going to need internet access, you will want to sign up for a
Connect@Sea package. You will be charged based on megabytes used rather than minutes. On my most recent cruise, Disney Cruise Line offered a Day One Special of 50 MB for free so long as you signed up for the promotion on Day One of your voyage. There were also multiple data plans of various sizes offered, up to 1 GB. Keep an eye on your Personal Navigator newsletter on embarkation day to see if there are any Connect@Sea promotions offered!
Amanda, thanks so much for stopping by with your question! If you think of any more before setting sail, please come back and see us again!
