Will I be able to bring the droid I built during my first visit to Galaxy’s Edge into the park on subsequent visits? I see the guidelines prohibit rc toys.

    Hiya, Jerrianne!

Don’t you just love those cute little droids? We fell in love with our adorable R-series and BB-series droids from Droid Depot. When we returned to our hotel room for a nap after visiting Batuu, those mischievous little things just wouldn’t keep quiet for as long as we planned. After an hour or so of napping, they both decided to wake up and start up a conversation between each other! Well, that was the end of the nap for us as well. So we headed back to the parks just a little earlier than planned!

Of course, we would just love to be able to take those cute little guys back to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge some day. But, as you are aware, remote-control toys are not permitted in the parks. That is the word that I have received from Cast Members so far. If you did happen to have your droid with you when approaching security, perhaps snug in its specially-made backpack or box, I would recommend giving yourself enough time to have a plan B. Don’t be too surprised if you hear a Security Cast Member tell you “Hey! We don’t serve their kind here!” You’ll want` to have enough time to return your friend to your hotel room or vehicle for safe keeping while you enjoy the parks without its faithful service. But, if you were to take your little friend, purposefully without the remote control, you might be able to explain the situation to one sympathetic to the cause the Resistance.

When you return to Black Spire Outpost, I hope you get a chance to enjoy a meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. My favorite dish there so far is the Braised Shaak Roast that is available at dinner time. Of course, you can’t go wrong with a delicious Ronto Wrap for a great meal on the go. I love both the regular and the breakfast version of the wraps.

May the Force be with you, Jerrianne!
