Welcome to planDisney, Susan! How lovely that you can set sail on a Disney Cruise from a port close to home. It makes packing so much easier when you don’t have to fly overseas to your destination.
Disney’s Alcohol Policy allows Guests 21 years and older to bring up to two unopened bottles of wine or champagne OR six cans of beer (no larger than 12 ounces) in their carry-on luggage. I understand it can be a bit disappointing not to be able to bring your favorite hard cider with you, but rest assured, you'll find plenty of options onboard.
The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app lets you peruse the bar and lounge menus once you connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi. I’ve seen hard cider sold in the adult-exclusive areas and on the pool deck. The app also lists the Happy Hour times, offering delightful drinks at special prices. There’s also a featured Drink of the Day that you might enjoy.
Another option is to peruse the
Onboard Gifts available for your itinerary. I saw a Kiwi & Guava Gravity Seltzer available for cruises departing from Melbourne, Australia. Any items you prepurchase will be waiting in your stateroom. Additionally, you can treat yourself to a Beverage Tasting seminar. These events offer the chance to try different drinks, learn from experts, and enjoy a unique experience onboard. You can find the
Beverage Tastings offered on your sailing under Onboard Fun.
Cheers to a cruise filled with delightful drinks and unforgettable moments! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out.
SEAS the adventure!
