Hi, Ginger! Welcome to planDisney.
Staying at a
Disney Resort hotel is an enchanting experience all on its own. Each resort has its own theme and charm, from the playful, larger-than-life decor at the Value Resorts like
Disney’s Pop Century Resort, to the relaxing, culture-inspired vibes at the Moderate Resorts like
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, all the way to the stunning detail and luxury of the Deluxe Resorts like
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. You’ll find everything from pools with waterslides to themed dining and cozy spots to just unwind. Honestly, some of my favorite Disney memories have happened right at the resort!
The good news is that you can book a Disney Resort hotel room for just one night without visiting a theme park. There’s no requirement to
purchase park tickets when booking a room, so whether you’re planning a quick overnight stay, a staycation, or just a chance to soak up that Disney atmosphere, you're good to go! It’s a great way to enjoy the magic of Disney at a slower pace.
Here’s a little tip: if you’re not heading into the parks, take advantage of the recreation and dining options right at your resort (or even hop to others!). Many resorts offer movie nights under the stars, poolside games, and unique dining experiences. A dinner reservation like
Boma - Flavors of Africa at
Animal Kingdom Lodge or
'Ohana at the Polynesian can be a standout night with no ticket needed.
I hope that's clarifying, Ginger. If you have any more questions, you've got a friend in me!
Mike
