When will I be able to book resort packages for Disney World for January 2023?

    Hi Kaylyn!

Here at planDisney we applaud your advance planning! With so many days of sweet anticipation, your Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar will taste extra delicious.

Walt Disney World vacation packages often drop in the summer for the upcoming year, but this year they were announced several months earlier. This means you may be able to book your 2023 package as early as February 2022 or as late as July 2022. But there is a work around if you want to lock down your dates at a specific resort.

Changing a room only reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort into a vacation package is as easy as convincing Belle to read a book. Rooms may be booked 499 days in advance, so you could reserve your room and then change to a package when they open up for 2023. Your window to book a room for a late January 2023 trip opens soon. Online reservations this far in advance are not available, so you will have to speak to a Cast Member at (407) 939-4357. Wait times are taking a bit longer currently, so have something on hand to do besides listen to Disney hold music.

Keep an eye on Specials Offers; you may apply discounts announced after you book to your reservation if it qualifies.

Enjoy your magical countdown for your visit to Mickey!
