Hi there, Carly!
Thanks for reaching out to planDisney. You are planning my perfect trip! Starting with the high-energy excitement of the theme parks and then unwinding on a Disney Cruise is one of the most delightful ways to experience Disney.
While
Minnie Vans are a fantastic way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort, they unfortunately don’t travel to Port Canaveral at this time. I'm sorry! I agree that it would be adorable to arrive at the port in full polka‑dot style!
If you’ve booked a pre- or post-cruise hotel stay through Disney Cruise Line, you can usually add
ground transfers for an additional fee. These are typically shared motorcoaches rather than private vans, but they’re wonderfully convenient. I personally appreciate how seamless the process is, and in some cases, you may even be able to enter the terminal earlier than your assigned Port Arrival Time. To arrange this, simply call
Disney Cruise Line. You can also search for private car services or ride‑share options online if you prefer a more individualized transfer.
Before your trip, I highly recommend downloading the
Navigator app. It’s an essential tool once you’re onboard, giving you access to daily schedules, dining menus, deck plans, and real‑time updates. You can even use it to chat with your travel party while on the ship. Having it downloaded and set up ahead of time makes embarkation smoother and helps you jump right into the fun the moment you board.
Carly, enjoy your magical vacation! I hope you contact planDisney again if you need additional information.
Happy sailing!
Jen
