    I was able to book both a meal at "Be our Guest" as well as "Princess Storybook Akershus Royal". It is my understanding there are NO characters at Be our Guest but I am debating which one to cancel. I want the best overall experience?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Both Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot are magical Dining Experiences so, if your budget allows, I would keep both Reservations. If you need to choose between the two, then my advice will differ depending on the time of day you are dining at each Restaurant. 

    Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is one of my family's favorite Character Dining Experiences! It's such a wonderful way to meet a lot of your favorite Princesses in one location. Although the menu is delicious no matter what time of day you choose to dine there, my family prefers dining there at Breakfast time. There's no better way to start the day than with Mickey waffles and royalty!  

    Be Our Guest Restaurant is truly enchanting! The atmosphere and details inside of Beasts' Castle also make it one of my favorite places to dine. The Grand Ballroom is magnificent; the gorgeous chandeliers and the "snow" falling outside the windows are truly breathtaking! The West Wing gives you a glimpse of the enchanted rose and has the same dark allure and mystery that you see in the movie. Guests have the opportunity to meet Beast (at Dinner only) in a designated area. There is a Disney PhotoPass photographer on hand to capture the moment. 

    So, if you have an early Breakfast or Lunch Advanced Dining Reservation then I recommend Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. If you have an Advanced Dining Reservation at Dinner time, then I suggest Be Our Guest Restaurant.
