Nothing pairs better than a fantastic meal followed up by a nighttime firework show in Walt Disney World Resort, amirite? Although the dining packages in Hollywood Studios were hard to beat, there are some considerations we need to acknowledge going forwards that will affect the availability of this show and this dining package. Let's walk through some of the details and see what we can come up with.
Fantasmic! was one of the many experiences across Walt Disney World that closed during the initial COVID-19 shutdown and took the time for some reimagining for the show and updates to some technology. Earlier this year, Fantasmic! was announced to return later in 2022. This was all very exciting news for all of us in the Disney community as we sorely miss nighttime shows in Hollywood Studios. Alas, we still do not have a firm date for its return. Without the firm date of the return of Fantasmic! the dining package at
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano is currently not offered at this time. You still can enjoy a fantastic meal at Mama Melrose's but as of this writing, no word yet on a firm date when Fantasmic! will be making its return.
If you are looking for a nice dining package for a great restaurant and nighttime show, well not to worry Martin, I've got you covered there! I would point you over to Disney's Enchanting Extras Collection and check out either
Spice Road Table or
Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Packages in EPCOT. Here you would pair a delicious meal at either location with a spectacular showing of Harmonious in EPCOT. This show is absolutely amazing and if you spend any time in EPCOT, you won't want to miss this!
You also have the option for a
Dessert Party in Magic Kingdom for some delectable treats paired nicely with prime viewing of Disney's Enchantment firework show. This show is quintessentially Disney with so many new songs, and projections both on Cinderella Castle and down Main Street U.S.A, you will want to make sure you check this show out!
Sorry, your first option might not work out quite as you wanted it to, but hopefully, you now have some options that you can take advantage of for similar experiences with new nighttime shows in different parks.
