Hey Howdy Hey Melissa and welcome to planDisney!
If there is one thing that we can appreciate, it is a plan for visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! I am happy to hear that you are currently in the planning stages for your upcoming vacation late next year, but it sounds like the Disney site may not be as ready as you are to plan. Not to worry, you've got a friend in me who can give you some guidelines on when to check back.
Disney realizes that many Guests planning their trips do so with a year if not longer in mind. As ahead of the game as they try to be, there are always planners out there like us that they may struggle to keep up with. Disney will typically release dates for the end of the next year around mid to late fall or early winter. Since there is usually not a big announcement or specific date release when bookings open, I would try to check back weekly just to see if the dates you are interested in open up.
As you are planning for your upcoming vacation, I'm sure you are aware of all the
benefits of staying onsite with Disney Resort hotels, but here is your friendly reminder there are quite a few! One of my favorites is extra time in the parks.
Early Theme Park Entry is available to all Guests staying onsite at a Disney Resort hotel. This benefit will give you 30 minute early entry into the parks everyday so you can experience a few attractions with very short wait times. Pro Tip: the parks usually fill up front to back so on these mornings, try to get as much done in the front of the park first and then work your way to the back as the park opens. The crowds will be chasing you and you would be surprised how many attractions you can experience before the lines increase.
Hang in there Melissa and keep checking back for your window to book your 2025 vacation. My fingers will be crossed that this happens sooner rather than later for you. If you have any other questions along the way, please feel free to stop back and let us know. We are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
