Hi there - when will I be able to book a Disney hotel stand alone for Aug 2024 please?

Hi Coleen! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

I have good news for you! Disneyland Resort Hotels are available to book for 2024. I was awaiting this moment as eagerly as you were, but now, the wait is over. Whether you'd like to book a Vacation Package or a Room Only reservation, you can navigate to "Places to Stay" at the top of the Disneyland Resort website and browse your preferred dates for all three Disneyland Resort Hotels.

Have you decided where you'd like to stay? All of the Disneyland Resort Hotels feature unmatched theming, convenient access to the theme parks, and fantastic dining options, so you can't go wrong with any of them. My family's favorite hotel is Disneyland Hotel. We really love the retro vibe, grabbing a Dole Whip from Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill, and the ability to jump on the Disneyland Monorail and ride right into the heart of Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park from just a few steps outside the hotel. But the transformation of Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel should be complete by the time of your holiday and I'm very excited to see how it turns out! And no matter where we stay, we always book one special dinner at Napa Rose in the gorgeous Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

August is a great time to plan a holiday to Disneyland Resort. Be sure you pack sunscreen, sunglasses, refillable water bottles, and comfortable light clothing. One of the great things about staying so close to the parks in a Disneyland Resort Hotel is the ability to pop back to the hotel in the afternoon and take a break either with a little snooze or a dip in one of the fun pools. My choice would be pool time, so be sure to pack the swimsuits too.

You're going to have the best time! As your holiday approaches be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for all the official updates on what new and exciting things you can expect to experience during your time.

    Have a magical day.
