Welcome to planDisney, Karen! Thanks for venturing into the rabbit hole to ask us a question about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.
I call the new
operational updates at Walt Disney World a WONDERLAND of new information. This includes changes like needing reservations for a theme park using the
Disney Park Pass system. But unlike the White Rabbit from
Alice in Wonderland, you won’t be late for that very important date for booking Advance Dining Reservations because it is now
60 days in advance of your Walt Disney World vacation. And this may make you smile ear to ear like the Cheshire cat: Guests staying at one of the resorts in the
Disney Resorts Collection are able to make their dining reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days).
So I suggest putting that specific date on your calendar so you are ready to
book those reservations on that 60th day in advance of your vacation. Then you are sure to have a Mad Tea Party at whichever restaurant you choose! Then go ahead and map out which restaurants are tops on your list and check to see if they are
currently available during this phased reopening. Keep in mind that some new restaurants may open up between now and your October vacation, so review this list in advance of your 60 day window.
Karen, we hope that if you are “curiouser and curiouser’’ with more planning questions, you will hop back to planDisney. Wishing you a magical vacation!
Sherry
