I have never been able to book Dining with an Imagineer. Is there a secret to this? Also, do they have them available during the week of Christmas and New Years?

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lesley! I would drool over my dinner plate, maybe not even taking a bit of food if I had the opportunity to Dine with an Imagineer. I have a feeling my ears would be hungry for more information rather than my stomach!

As you can IMAGINEER, there are not a lot of opportunities open for this coveted dining experience. I can tell you that these slots open up 180 days in advance, just as regular dining opportunities do. You’ll also notice on the event page that it’s not offered everyday, but several times a week instead, with only one or two seatings a day. Additionally, in years past, this event has not been offered past about December 15th, since Imagineers may be spending time with Mickey or their families, dreaming up new ideas and playing around. You can always call (407) 939-1947 to speak with a dining representative to find out at what point they will resume dining with guests, and perhaps get a bead on which days are coming up for your vacation. It’s something worth sniffing out… can you imagine what amazing things you’ll talk about over lunch?! Maybe it will be tidbits about the brand new Toy Story Land, just steps away from The Brown Derby there in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

If I can help you find another dining experience that would tempt your palate, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
