Am I able to begin planning and paying for a vacation in the summer of 2028 with my two children?

Hey there! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us.

Is there anything better than planning a Walt Disney World vacation? Sure, actually going on vacation may be better, but I think the planning process runs a close second. With four theme parks, two water parks, and so many shopping and dining options, the combination of magical experiences is almost endless!

It’s never too early to start daydreaming about your Walt Disney World adventure, but unfortunately, 2028 vacation packages haven’t been released yet. Based on previous years, I’d expect to see information on 2028 Walt Disney World Resort hotels and tickets shared with the public in the first half of 2027.

There is still plenty of prep and planning you can do while you wait for 2028 vacation packages to be released, though. The Disney Parks Blog is the best resource for updates and news about the Disney Parks, including special event previews and guides. They’re also likely to be one of the first places to share info about vacation packages. I’d also suggest reviewing the different categories of Walt Disney World Resort hotels, types of dining plans, and keeping an eye on the special offers page as your booking window approaches.

And of course, be sure to check out the planDisney video library! There are all sorts of videos with useful tips and tricks for visiting Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and other Disney destinations with kiddos.

I hope this information is helpful and that you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World, whenever you may visit. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have more vacation planning questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
