When am I able to begin checking in for my April 11-15 Dream cruise?

Ahoy there, Cathy, and thanks for sailing our way here at planDisney!

April is such a WONDERful time to sail - so great, in fact, that my family's got a Disney Cruise Line vacation planned, too! The weather is almost always great, and it's a nice reward for getting through the winter months! Wow, I was excited before, but answering your question has got me ready to check-in for my family's cruise...come along and we'll check this out (or maybe check this in? haha) together!

Online check-in for your cruise begins 30 days before your sail date, so for your April 11th embarkation date, you'll be able to check-in on Saturday, March 12! That's just around the corner! You'll find the button to check in by visiting "My Reservations" on the Disney Cruise Line website. When you do, you can fill out cruise documents, register any kids for youth clubs and select a port arrival time, as you'll need one before you make your way to the cruise terminal! Just follow the steps all the way through, and you'll be one step closer to embarkation day!

Lucky for you it falls on a Saturday - I've sometimes been up late on a Tuesday, and after doing check-in, that alarm for work feels like it hits extra early!

Once you're checked in, you are SO CLOSE to setting sail! I can almost feel the ocean breeze now! If you haven't already, post-check in is also a perfect time to double-check Port Adventures for availability that may have opened up since your booking window opened. It's also a great time to add any Adult Dining or Beverage Tastings you may want to experience!

If you're traveling with little ones, scheduling a call from Captain Mickey, Captain Minnie, or Goofy is a great way to get even more excited about your vacation coming into view over the horizon! Who am I kidding, I've set it up just for me before, too! OH, and don't forget to pack - Disney Cruise Line has some suggested packing lists that should make this part of your pre-trip planning a piece of cake...er...Mickey Bar.

Finally, be sure you have the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded and have bookmarked the "Know Before You Go" information page! Both will help you stay informed of any changes to policies and procedures that may affect embarkation, your experience onboard, or debarkation! With so few days to go, you won't want to miss checking off any boxes!

Cathy, I'm so ready for you to set sail for adventure with Disney Cruise Line and thank you so much for your question! If you hit any rough seas after checking in, feel free to drop me another line!

    Fair winds and following seas!
