Hello, Jenelle!
Thanks for coming to
planDisney to ask us your
Disneyland Resort question. My family loves being able to go back and forth between the two theme parks when we visit, so I always recommend that Guests use Park Hopper tickets as a tool to make the most of their time! That way you can choose which park to enjoy depending on attraction wait times and the entertainment schedule for each day.
Yes, you may upgrade your
tickets at a Main Entrance Ticket Booth in the Esplanade between
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park, but the ability to visit a park is subject to the park's capacity limitations, and theme park reservations are limited. If you’ve already used your single-park tickets to make a
theme park reservation, you can keep that date and then upgrade your ticket upon arrival, pending availability. You’ll start your day at the park you reserved and then be able to visit the other park after 11:00 a.m. with the Park Hopper ticket if upgrades are available and theme park capacity allows. A park reservation is not currently required for the second park after visiting the first park you selected, but reservation requirements are subject to change.
I hope this information is helpful and that your visit is filled with many pixie-dusted memories, Jenelle! Please write back with any other questions you can dream of as you continue making plans.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
