Will I be able to add a guest to my vacation package registration who has already purchased a ticket separately?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Adreonna,

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. It sounds like you have a very exciting adventure coming up at the Walt Disney World Resort and you are hoping to spread the magic with an added Guest.

Adreonna, I checked with Guest Services, and whether or not you can add your Guest to your registration is a bit dependent on your individual vacation package. If your package includes just your Resort, and you are buying your theme park tickets separately, then that would be fairly easy to add your additional Guest to your Resort reservation.  If your vacation package includes your Resort and theme park tickets, Guest Services may be able to assist you in finding a way to add your Guest to the vacation package, but it could mean that either they need to disconnect your tickets to have you purchase them separately or when you add her to your vacation package, she would get another ticket.

This is because, when you purchase a vacation package, everyone registered on that package gets the entire package.  It isn't really possible to add some things and not others for specific Guests on a vacation package. But I recommend contacting Guest Services as they will be best suited to look at your specific vacation package to help come up with a solution.  The Cast Members are oh so helpful and will do their best to wave their magic wands to grant your wish.

If ultimately, your Guest remains on their own ticket and Resort reservation, one thing you can do to make Advance Dining Reservations, Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane and Individual Lightning Lane Reservations, and even Theme Park Reservations is to link them in your Family & Friends List in your My Disney Experience account.  This would enable you to travel as a group for these things I mentioned.

To do this, open your My Disney Experience mobile app and click on the three lines in the bottom, right corner of the screen.  Next, scroll down and click on "My Profile" and then select "Family & Friends List."  You'll next want to select "Add a Guest" and select an option for adding your Guest."  Scroll down until you see "My Profile," and click on it.  From there, click on "Family & Friends List," and then click "Add a Guest."  You will then have a few options as to how you add a Guest to your list. Once they are added, you will be able to enjoy dining, attractions, and theme parks together.

I hope this helps you Adreonna!  If I can be of any further assistance as you plan your dream Disney vacation, come back and see me here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon!
