Hi, am I able to add the Disney dinning plan to my grand Floridian hotel and park reservation at a later date?

Hi there, Rebecca! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

A stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa sounds like the perfect autumn getaway and since you'll be staying so close to Magic Kingdom Park in October, don't forget about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This hard ticket event is packed full of entertainment and of course... food! Thinking about that party and all of the delicious themed treats is making my mouth water.

And, speaking of treats- that brings us back your question about adding the Disney Dining Plan. A Cast Member confirmed with me that you can absolutely add a Disney Dining Plan option to your existing reservation as long as it is done three days in advance of your arrival date.

With three different dining plan options, I would first think about what restaurants and dining experiences are important to you. Conveniently located in your resort, you'll find great options like 1900 Park Fare, Gasparilla Island Grill and Grand Floridian Cafe, just to name a few. I would also highly encourage you to make reservations if you are planning to dine at any Table Service restaurants.

Rebecca, I hope this helps as you are thinking about your upcoming trip! Best wishes for a delectable vacation that is Magical down to the last bite.
