Is there aa list of resorts organized by size? When I look at the maps I find it difficut to visualize their size. I'm trying to get a idea of CBR. If I don't book preferred will I be walking forever to get to food and bus.

Hello, Pamela, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for this great question about Guest Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.

This Disney Resort Hotel is large in surface area, with six Caribbean themed villages clustered around Barefoot Bay. Having stayed at this Resort Hotel, I understand your concerns about proximity to conveniences and amenities found at Old Port Royale. You are correct, the Preferred Guest Rooms are closer to Old Port Royale and do have a slightly higher nightly rate.

May I suggest you consider Guest Rooms in the villages of Jamaica building 45, or Aruba building 51? These are Standard Guest Rooms and are a fairly short walk across the footbridge away from Old Port Royale. If you request a 'lake view room' during your Resort Online Check-In, every possible effort will be made to accommodate you. As well, by completing your Resort Online Check-In 60 days before your stay, you've expedited your check-in process on arrival day.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort also offers complimentary Internal Resort Bus Transportation from bus stops at each of the six villages. This enables Guests the convenience of taking the Internal Resort Bus to Old Port Royale from their village Guest Room instead of walking. Please familiarize yourself with all amenities and services and fun-filled recreation at this Disney Resort Hotel to maximize your visit, Pamela.

    Best Disney Dreams!
