About Me
Greetings! I'm Candace, mother of four, wife, teacher and life-long lover of all things Disney! If you see me at home, I may seem like a regular suburban mom, off at soccer games all summer with my girls, skating and sledding throughout winter, and out together exploring the many festivals and fun in our nation's capital, Ottawa, ON but I like to think I'm so much more! I'm a lifelong learner, keenly and enthusiastically looking to expand my knowledge of everything. I'm a musician, having played piano from early childhood to adulthood, highlighted by a most-treasured performance with my high school band right at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm a Disney-lover with a family that has spent over a decade building memories at this magical place and always ready to plan our next adventure!
About My Family
My Disney-loving family resides in Canada's capital, Ottawa, Ontario. Along with my husband and four daughters, we're a proud Franco-Ontarian family, speaking both official languages. Together, we love to travel, explore Canada and stay active. We've recently visited Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, regularly visit the much-loved Walt Disney World Resort for special events, races and family vacations, and when not away from home, we're often at soccer games, swimming or at the rink to skate or curl. As a two-teacher household, both my husband and I love to immerse our kids in experiences where they can learn and expand their interests. We are a family that loves to learn and play together!
About My Disney Experience
My husband and I first traveled to Walt Disney World Resort on our honeymoon. We had such an amazing time and knew we wanted to visit once we had children so they too could experience the magic of the Parks. On our older daughters' first trip, we were curious about the Disney Vacation Club and set up a visit with a Disney Vacation Club Guide. We quickly fell in love with the idea of visiting Walt Disney World Resort in addition to other Disney Destinations and creating memories with family for years to come. Our trips are often multi-generational with both family and friends so having the flexibility and the opportunity to stay in larger villas was exciting. Over the past decade, our children have grown up at the Parks and we've created countless treasured core memories. Leaving a Disney Destination is always sad but as Disney Vacation Club Members, knowing we will be back again makes it easier to say "See you real soon!".
