I am a school librarian who grew up and lives in the great state of Texas. It seems that I am always planning our next Walt Disney World adventure, and when others ask if we are going "again," I simply explain that no two Walt Disney World vacations are the same, so for me it feels like a new experience each time.
About My Family
Everyone seems to believe that I was the original Disney fan in our household, but I was lucky enough to marry a man, who not only was a fan but had his own magical experience with Disney. We have two wonderful children (one teen princess and one tween prince) and each visit to Walt Disney World Resort has been made even more enchanting because of them. We are raising a pair of "Disney fans" and it is so fun for us to engulf them in the magic as often as possible, as they continue to grow. To make each vacation special, I try to plan something different to make it special and memorable for each member of my family. That "something different" can come in the form of Foot Golf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course to glamping at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to our daughter experiencing surf lessons, for the first time, at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
About My Disney Experience
I admit I fell in love with the Mouse about 18 years before I got the chance to visit Walt Disney World Resort for the first time. I remember sitting in front of the television at the age of 11 to watch the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. At the time, it seemed it was an unattainable feat, but as luck would have it, I married a man who loves all-things-Disney and I was able to travel to Walt Disney World for the first time at the age of 29. That first time was such a thrill because it jump-started my love for Disney and Disney vacation planning. Ever since, a Disney vacation is a common staple in our home, whether it is a quick weekend or an entire week. In addition to our numerous Walt Disney World Resort vacations, we became Disney Vacation Club owners in 2010, have cruised on Disney Cruise Line and visited Disneyland Resort.
